INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start by dusting off the bowl with a damp sponge.
2. Taking a pencil, trace the outline of your own hand to the outside of the bowl.    You
can arrange the hands in any way you like. I placed them all around the bottom rim of
the bowl to make it look like the hands were reaching for candy.
3. Apply three coats of Lime Ricky to half of the handprints.
4. Apply three coats of Grape Slush to the remaining handprints.
5. Apply three coats of Lime Light to the nails of any of the Lime Ricky handprints. I
made these nails in the shape of squares but you can make them pointed and sharp
looking as well.
6. Apply three coats of Black Lab to the Grape Slush handprints. I made these nails
more “witch- like” by making them pointed and sharp.
7. Using either a Black Lab writer pen or a fine brush-apply at least one layer of Black
lab to the outline of all the hands and nails.
8. Using either a Black Lab writer pen or a fine brush-apply at least one layer of Black
lab or Hi Ho Silver to add lines and creases in each hand using your own hand as a
guide.
9. Using a pencil, draw out some spider webs around your bowl. You can also trace
and transfer spider webs on to the bowl if you aren’t comfortable drawing them out. Ask
a You’re Fired employee for help with Trace and Transfers.
10. Using either a Black Lab writer pen or a fine brush-apply at least one layer of black
to the spider webs.
11. Blood Splatter effect-Taking a toothbrush - Splatter Rockin’ Red all around the
bowl.
12. Blood Dripping Effect- Taking the bottle of Rockin’ Red around the rim of the bowl-
squeeze the bottle of paint around the rim and let the excess paint drip right into the
bowl and to the outside rim of the bowl as well.
13. Leave to be glazed and fired.
14. Fill with candy and scare all your Trick or Treaters this year!!
